Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kingston is a handsome 3-year old male Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow mix who arrived at the HSOV on June 12 2017 after he was picked up in the Beverly Ohio area by the Washington County Dog Warden.
Kingston has a black short smooth coat (which has a very heavy/dense texture), a small patch of white on his chest, white toes on his paws, a long tail, and a noble-looking face with a slender muzzle and short floppy ears.
We have listed Kingston as a 'Special Needs Dog' since he appears to be blind :( He is understandably pretty nervous and afraid in an unfamiliar place with people he cannot see and barking dogs nearby :( But he is a different dog when he is outside and senses someone is close by :)
Kingston weighs 42.2 lbs. and isn't a very large dog when you see him in person.
These photos were taken on June 15, 2017 when Kingston was taking a walk with one of his favorite volunteers. He enjoys being outdoors and is a happy boy when he is close to someone.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Kingston will be held for three days to that his family has the opportunity to reclaim him. He is now available for adoption/foster/rescue since he was not reclaimed.
Kingston was neutered on June 16, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine.
