Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Foley is an extra special guy. He ended up at animal control with a badly injured leg that had to be amputated. He hasn't let what's happened to him affect his sweet and gentle nature. This boy is just so grateful to have a comfy home with lots of food and love. Missing one leg isn't bothering him at all and he's learning to adjust perfectly to 3 legs.
Foley is positive for FIV but it's really not a big deal. Cats with FIV live just as long as other cats. They do tend to need dentals earlier than others but that's about it. FIV cats that are friendly with other cats can live with non-FIV cats without transmitting it. FIV is only transmitted through very deep, severe bite wounds. This guy is a lover, not a fighter, and gets along great with his foster's 3 non-FIV cats. Just because Foley has FIV, it doesn't mean he's not just as worthy of your love as any other kitty!!
