BELLE's Story...
Say hi to Belle. Little Belle is about 3 months old. In her short 3 months she was being abused by her owners because they believed she was a Rottweiler and wanted a mean dog. Thankfully some animal lovers wouldn't stand for it and got her from the people. There's not a mean bone in her body. We believe Belle is a Black and Tan Hound. She's doing great at her foster home and loves playing with her big Yellow Lab foster sister. If you're interested in adopting Belle please fill out the application at this link. http://www.dfwfgf.org/adoption-application.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BELLE, a Dallas Black and Tan Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
