My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Colleen is a beautiful 7-month old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on June 11, 2017 after a Good Samaritan found her in the Marietta Ohio area.
Though Colleen is merely an overgrown kitten herself, she will soon be giving birth to kittens of her own (sigh).....
This young mother-to-be has a shiny black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a very pretty face with large golden eyes and a black button nose. She has been given wormer and flea treatment but has not been vaccinated because of her pregnancy. Colleen weighs 7.2 lbs.
We took preliminary photos of Colleen in her 'birthing box' to post on our Petfinder/Facebook pages but didn't want to disturb her or stress her out by taking her out of her cage.
The Good Samaritan who found Colleen asked that we let everyone know that her name is to be pronounced as COAL-EEN because of her stunning black coat.
UPDATE: Colleen gave birth to 7 kittens on June 29, 2017 (mother and babies are doing fine). Colleen was combo tested on July 1, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine. She and her kittens went home with a fantastic foster mother the same day.
