Important Note

Bart is best friends with Katy. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
SO CUTE! We have taken these darling little xolos into our rescue! Bart and Katy are a bonded six years old pair, vet checked, dentals completed, spayed, altered, microchipped and heart worm tested. They are on HW prevention. Bart weights 7 pounds and Katie weighs 8 pounds. They LOVE their people and want to be together. They are cuddly little lap dogs. They love treats, toys, and did I say treats? Katie is a little timid, but once she gets to know you she is sweet, loving and wants attention. Bart is a love bug! On his first day with his foster he found his way under her shirt and stuck his head out the top and stayed there! They really prefer a little more laid back house and are "ok" with kitties, but not big dogs, and children are sort of loud and not their thing. They love car rides (especially to get treats). Located in Indiana.

About Xoloitzcuintli Primitive Breed Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are group of dedicated volunteers doing everything we can to save homeless and unwanted Xoloitzcuintli. They are a relatively unknown breed with unique characteristics and needs so we do our best to educate all interested parties so there are no surprises. We always need loving foster homes as well as transporters and volunteers in a variety of areas.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our Rescues are in private foster homes across the US. If a potential adopter is within driving distance arrangements are happily made to schedule a meet-up.
We also adopt and Foster in Canada as well.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process involves filling out an application and being approved by the board of directors. Our rescued dogs are then matched to the perfect family.
Our typical adoption Fees are:
$350 for healthy Hairless Xolo's.
$150 for Coated, Senior, or Special needs.
This includes all vaccinations and a microchip. Transportation can be arranged but is not included in the fees. We try to respond to inquires within 24 hours.
We do check references and try to conduct home visits as well.
