Kobe's Story...
Kobe and siblings are loving, playful puppies rescued from Louisiana. Active and cuddly both. Their mom looks like a Cairn Terrier but their dad is a total guess. They have terrier faces, beagle faces, pug tails, they are all varied. Expected to be about the same size as their mom, about 25 pounds. We are accepting applications now but they cannot be adopted until June 18 when they turn 8 weeks old.

Adoption Fee is $325 with Spay/Neuter Contract. A separate $100 deposit will be collected but will be returned after we receive the spay/neuter certificate for your puppy at 6 months of age.

Applications are required prior to meeting the puppy. Please go to caninehumane.org and click on Adopt.. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kobe, a Columbia Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
