Dublin's Story...
Dublin #7268 is a 2-year-old female, Boston Terrier/Boxer mix. This young lady is a very sweet girl. She enjoys being around people and likes to meet everyone. She came to us with a litter of 4 puppies that have been adopted; Dublin she is ready for a home of her own. She is a little strong on a leash but settles down quickly. She knows basic commands and with a little work and she will be awesome! She is crate trained. She is good around dogs and cats. She weighs 45 pounds and is full-grown but could stand to gain another 5 pounds. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for adoption event locations and updates: www.facebook.com/lcarmd.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dublin, a Waldorf Boston Terrier/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Boxer for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
