My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 3 years
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 66 lbs
Variety: Field
Bosco is a typical "Springer clinger" who always wants to be close to his people. A loving boy, he adores being petted and getting attention.

Bosco has a list of things he enjoys: squeaky toys, rawhides, exercise, and swimming (especially after ducks or geese!). He is always "hunting," so bunnies, birds, and squirrels should beware. Bosco has an abundance of energy, and he really likes walks. He's strong on a leash and walks best with a gentle leader, becoming more comfortable with it the longer he walks.

This smart boy knows Sit and is learning Stay and Lie Down. He rides well in the car. Bosco is still working on recall when his name is called, but he's eager to learn and to please. The best thing his new family could do for Bosco would be to enroll him in basic obedience training. He's like a big puppy! He would benefit from a course that would challenge him and give him a training foundation.

Bosco lives with another dog in his foster home, but he wants to be the dominant dog in the household, so his ideal Forever Home would have him as the only dog. However, Bosco does play well with other dogs in a large-pack setting like a dog park.

If you're looking for a handsome Velcro boy who will reward your love with his, consider Bosco. He is ready to meet his adoring new family!

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Bosco.
