I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Sadie's Story...
Sadie came to us with an adopter in mind; sadly, we came to realize she has some limitations with her vision and the adopter was no longer interested :(

Everything happens for a reason though, as we soon learned that she was expecting! She had a litter of six beautiful little puppies, and will be looking for a forever home of her very own once they are old enough.

Sadie is a sweet and gentle girl that enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to snuggle; a lot of chaos may be too overwhelming to her, so we recommend a home with older children. She would REALLY love a fenced in yard to play in. Due to her vision limitations, Sadie would do best in a calmer home without small children, as too much commotion may startle her. She does get around just fine though.

If you are interested in meeting Sadie, please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.cognitoforms.com/RHAR1/RHARAdoptionApplication

She will be fully vetted prior to adoption.

Adoption fee: $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Aurora Golden Retriever/Mixed Breed (Large) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Mixed Breed (Large) for sale in Aurora, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Mixed Breed (Large) dog from a breeder in Aurora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aurora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aurora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Mixed Breed (Large) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Mixed Breed (Large) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aurora paves the way for another one to be saved.
