Important Note

CASEY (video) is best friends with ZIGGY (video). Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Hello! I'm Casey. I'm a 2 1/2 year old spayed female Bull Terrier/Cattle Dog mix. I weigh about 29 pounds. I'm a sweet girl with lots of love to share with my future family. In addition to being spayed, I'm microchipped and current on my vaccines, so I'm ready to move into my forever home. I get along really well with people and other dogs. I especially love my brother, Ziggy! We're a bonded pair, so we would like to be adopted together. I don't think it's too much to ask, since we're both such well-behaved, nice pups.

Our story is kind of a sad one, so I'll make it quick. We once lived with a couple, but they broke up and we stayed with the husband. He eventually moved out of his house and left us there with nothing but a bowl of water and some food and expected us to fend for ourselves. Can you imagine?! Once the neighbors found out about us, they took us in temporarily, but they never intended to keep us. The neighbor's yard wasn't very secure and we easily escaped. We were then found roaming the streets by a CageFree employee who scanned our microchips and contacted our original owner. Unfortunately, our owner said they didn't want to keep us and agreed to relinquish us to the rescue.

So the next thing we knew, we were in a car on our way to CageFree's facility. Upon arriving, we got flea baths and now we're fresh and clean and ready to meet potential adopters! We are affectionate and friendly, and all around fantastic pups. Ziggy is a little more confident than I am, so I really benefit from having him around. If you would like to open your home to two amazing dogs, we would love to meet you! Please don't hesitate to contact CageFree and make an appointment!

About CageFree K9 Rescue Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

CageFree K9 Rescue Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit no-kill all-breed dog rescue group located in Los Angeles. We're dedicated to finding great homes for great dogs. The majority of our rescues come from the many Los Angeles animal shelters and are screened for temperament and sociability. We focus on pulling "red-listed" dogs before they are euthanized by high-kill local shelters. We ensure that each and every dog in our care receives the medical attention and emotional support they need until they are placed with their new forever family! All of our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered prior to placement.
