Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am Henry Higgins. I'm a super sweet, older gentleman, approximately 8 years old. I am a husky hound beagle mix, weighing in at about 65 lbs. My optimal weight is 75-80 pounds and with my foster parents making sure my belly is full on a regular basis I will be there soon! I am good with other laid back dogs and also with kids. I do ok with cats, though it may be best if my forever home is cat free. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? I am crate trained but if someone could tell me what is so great about them, I’d appreciate it. I would love to just lie back on the couch with you while you rub my belly. House training is going good for the most part but I am still learning and will have it down in no time. I also know basic commands and can’t wait to see what other tricks my forever home will teach me.
My adoption fee is SPONSORED (meaning I am available fee-waived to an approved home) and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip with free lifetime registration! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit rescueonespringfield.com/adoption-application/ and fill out the form!
