Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTERED IN: Chicago, IL 60605
AGE: 6 Years (Est DOB: 05/2011)
WEIGHT: 12 lbs
KIDS: Yes
DOGS: Yes
CATS: Unknown
HISTORY:
Mr. Trout was a stray who was brought into CACC. He was very heavily matted and had to be completely shaved upon arrival.
ABOUT:
Mr. Trout looks looks like a large Yorkie. (He only weighs 12 lbs, so “large” is relative.) He is housetrained and crate trained. He currently sleeps in his crate at his foster home, but he was totally comfortable sleeping in bed when he was in a “vacation foster” for 4 days. Mr. Trout likes to talk a big game when meeting other dogs, he will bark and even growl a little, but if the other dog approaches him he stops making noise and is totally friendly with them. He even made friends with an 11 month old rambunctious lab puppy. Mr. Trout never barks inside, even when he hears other dogs barking in the building. He understands: Sit; Off; Out; Leave It; Eat; and Outside. Mr. Trout does very well with the foster’s 13 year old daughter, but because he is a small dog we suggest that he only be adopted into homes with older children. He is equally content when his foster home is sitting quietly reading and doing homework as when they are singing and dancing around. He is very good in the car, and has even taken rides on public transportation while in his carrier. His foster home uses the following words to describe him: Smart, Self-Assured, Handsome, Easy to Please, and Chill.
