Bowser's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This gentle giant came to us yesterday on our transport from WV. He's 6 months old and a great dane hound mix. He looks like a gentle giant. He responds very well to correction and seems to be crate trained, you will need a large crate though if you plan on crating him. He'll be at our regular adoption events at the Potomac Mills PetSmart, located at 13337 Worth Avenue, Woodbridge VA 22192, on Sundays from 12:30-3:30.
His adoption fee is $350 which includes his neuter, rabies, distemper, bordatella, microchip, and any vetting needed prior to adoption.

Visit us on line at animalfriendsva.org for more information about us and our available dogs/cats, and for applications to foster and/or adopt.  You can also contact us by email at animalfriendsva@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bowser, a Woodbridge Great Dane/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Woodbridge, or seeking a Great Dane/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Woodbridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodbridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodbridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Great Dane/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodbridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
