My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Bandit
Good with Kids: Older kids preferred. He does not put up with abuse from small children well.
Good with Cat: Yes
Good with Dogs: Yes
Age: ~6 years old
Breed: Border Collie/Lab

Bandit came from a mixed up familial situation. He lived with small child that had a history of intentionally irritating him, and when Bandit attempted to correct his behavior, the human male in the household used this as an opportunity to remove Bandit from the house. Older children would be preferred in a household with kids, to avoid a future incident of a similar nature. Bandit is a laid back boy that loves his meal times and jaunting around the house. He has learned to be crate trained and appreciates back scratchies in that hard to reach place on his shoulders. He is very fluffy, although he is on a diet to combat the "extra" fluffiness. Bandit would make a great family dog with older kids! He loves to go for walks, he tolerates other dogs well, and of course, his favorite thing on planet Earth is dinner time. Don't be late, or he'll give you those big, sad puppy eyes that only a lab can do. He's a pro! Believe it or not, he also loves walkies. Bandit is quite laid back and not too much terribly works him up. He's a happy boy that likes people and attention with the best of them. If we had to compare him to a Doctor Who companion or related character, we'd compare him the best to Donna's granddad. He is always there for you at the end of the day, he's for a quirky sense of humor, he's a great judge of character, and he loves to watch adventure.
