Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This delightful little girl is as sweet as she can be-loving, gentle, settled, calm and quite the joy to have in the house. She even talks-that's right! When going for her daily walk, Abby greets people with a little talk-like she's saying "how are you today-I'm a happy girl!!"
Abby came to GREAT Rescue by way of the local animal shelter where she was dumped by her owner. Missing patches of fur due to fleas, Abby has been enjoying her life in her foster home while gaining back her gorgeous fur coat. She's a real joy to have around and absolutely no trouble at all says her foster Mom. She enjoys sharing their home with Jasmine, another female Golden Retriever, and the family cat. Friends to all she meets, Abby is quite the darling little girl.
Abby is current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, spayed and recently underwent surgery to remove a malignant tumor from her chest. She's doing very well and we are hopeful that there will be no recurrence. She is back to her happy self and hoping desparately that a new family will come along to make her theirs forever. Abby is eight years old.
If you wish to make Abby your very own, please go to our website at www.greatrescue.org to complete/submit an application. Abby is waitng to hear from YOU!
