Katey (black) dob 3/19, Esmeralda (black/white) dob 3/15, Esperanza (grey) dob 3/15.

These 3 kittens are fun, fun, and more fun. In the morning when I open the door to bring their food there are 3 little blurs running out the door and down the hall way. Shortly Esperanza (gray) is back to feed. Next Katey (black) is back to rub my feet. Esmeralda (black/white) is off exploring to see did anything change during the night. I have to walk down to see where she is. Soon there she is and I can carry her purring in my hands back to the food. After breakfast it is play time. I can pet a little but only as they run about chasing each other and sometimes lay on my lap. They are kittens at heart and being held is not in their play book. Allow the playing and when they slow down is perhaps your time to hold.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Esperanza, a North Highlands Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
