Buster's Story...
Hey hey hey! My name is Buster and I am one adorable Chihuahua Mix! I am a great guy and I have had a nice life so far, so I am a ready-made pet! My family took very good care of me and had to give me up because of unforeseen circumstances and couldn’t bring me along to their next chapter in life. I am looking for someone who has time to spend and love to give! I am really sweet and very affectionate guy, once I get to know you. Also I wouldn’t mind sharing my home with gentle and respectful kids 8+! I am housebroken, crate trained and like most jacks of all trades- I even get along with cats too! I am just waiting for my new life to begin! So come on in and meet me to see if I’m the one for you.
4 years old-15lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Portland Chihuahua/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for sale in Portland, or seeking a Chihuahua/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeders who help with Chihuahua/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
