Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Paco is about 1.5 yrs.old, adoption fee is $275.00. He was rescued from a backyard breeder who was forced to handover her pets. Paco took a while to warm up to a normal family life. He follows you everywhere and snuggles close while sharing the couch. He is doing very well going potty on puppy pads, but hasn't gotten the whole idea of going outdoors for his potty breaks. He is only about 5-6 lbs, he has been neutered, received all his vacciinations and prevetatives for fleas and worms. Paco will need a warm, caring environment. We hope to place him with people familiar with the breed and who also have a bit of patience... Paco was not treated well his first year in life, but we are looking to help him find a permanent place to call home. Paco is not a nipper, nor a biter, he has a very understanding way about him. But we do believe he needs to be in a calm home. If interested, e-mail us for an adoption application.
Please be aware that it is the opinion of this rescue group, in conjunction with dog behaviorists, that a young puppy benefits greatly with proper socialization,a nd obedience training. We will only place puppies younger than 6 months, in homes where they have the opportunity to be with someone all day, or travel to work, or have special arrangements, such as Puppy DayCare, Dog Walker, etc.
Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. No guarantees are implied.
