My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam is a 2 year old little guy who is absolutely adorable. We are guessing he is a Shih Poo and is 24lbs. Sam was a stray picked up by animal services and its obvious he hasn't had the best life up until now. He was covered in fleas and had hairloss down his back. He also appears to have had an injury to his hind end somewhere along the line that we are very much hoping is not from being kicked, as it looks like. His hair is growing back and nothing further needs to be done for his hips except time to heal. He gets around just fine, just a bit of a limp while it heals. He has compensated for the soreness by tipping up on his front legs sometimes to pee! It's pretty funny. Sam will need some help with his house training as I don't think he has been much of an inside dog before now, but he's a smart little guy and should figure it out with love and patience. He is good with kids and great with other dogs. Sam has been neutered, vaccinated, chipped, heart worm tested (neg) and treated for fleas. One by One Pet Rescue is a Flower Mound based 501c3 rescue and we require a home with a yard, where he will be inside and not left alone all day during the work week. Adoption fee $200
