They are all typical pups , they run, play and eat!! They seem to have a lot of lab in them their mom is a schnauzer mix of 38 lbs. They all had parvo when we rescued them and spent a week at the emergency vet but all are in great health now and looking for their new homes. They will need house and leash training. They are not suitable for an apartment and will need a fully fenced in and secure yard, we prefer a home with experienced dog owners.

The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. The application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/

Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
