Meet Anita! Anita is a sweet young gal, even with a rough start to her short life. Anita ended up in the shelter, where she was sad and confused. Anita had an old injury to her leg that was not treated properly at the time. As a result, it would give her problems and be painful for the rest of her life. Anita had surgery to amputate the leg and now will be a happy, healthy tripod dog. Dogs adapt to three legs wonderfully and Anita is no exception. Now in a foster home, Anita is coming out of her shell and learning what it’s like to be a part of a family. Anita is a docile girl and eager to please. She is smart and easy to train. We believe Anita was born around June 1, 2016. She weighs around 45 lbs. and our best guess is that she's a Pointer mix. Anita will do great with a family ready to provide her guidance, patience and love. Is that you?Our adoptions are restricted to residents of Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Our adoption events are held at the Petco located at 24413 Crenshaw Blvd., Torrance, CA Saturdays from 12pm to 3pm. We do not show our dogs any other time.
