Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This precious little dog looks like a schnauzer mix. She is approx 15 months old and 18 lbs. She is a little timid and shy until she gets to know you, but very gentle and sweet. She loves to play with the other dogs and has a really nice disposition. She does well on a leash but can pull a little. She seems to be pretty well house broken and is quiet and well behaved. We think she would do best in a home with older family members because she is timid.
The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. The application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/
Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
