My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is a beautiful and incredibly sweet girl who endured a heartbreaking life before we met her. Bound by a heavy chain, living in a trash lot, using discarded appliances as "shelter" for herself and her frequent litters of puppies, Bella rarely received food or water. Her resilience kept her going, kept her puppies safe, and kept her loving and gentle personality intact.

All of Bella's most recent, and thankfully FINAL, litter have found loving homes. Now it's Bella's turn! Bella is a beautiful, truly mixed-breed dog, and is of medium size. She loves people, and is happiest when snuggled up in, or close to, the lap of a human. Bella has gotten along well with all of the dogs she has met during her time with the Rescue. Estimated at 3-4 years old, Bella is thankfully heartworm negative...and is now on prevention medication to stay that way. She has had all of her vaccines and has been spayed and microchipped.
