Riki's Story...
Hi, I am Riki! I came to Open Doors after being left in a box along with two other kitties at a PetsMart, then I was shipped off to CACC where luckily CRISP and Open Doors immediately came to my rescue! I love other kitties, my two brothers are my best friends. I love to play and and snuggle too when I am all played out! If you can give me a home with another young kitty or take home one of my brothers as well Tiki and Canelo then I would be a great kitty for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riki, a LaGrange Park Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in LaGrange Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in LaGrange Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LaGrange Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LaGrange Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LaGrange Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
