Here's what the humans have to say about me:
All bets are off. Reno has already won our hearts and we would bet the house that she'll steal your heart too. We rescued our sweet, snaggletooth, Pekingese girl from a high kill shelter when she came in with a number of other dogs from a hoarding situation. Despite being emaciated, matted and dirty when we met her, thanks to a lot of TLC from her foster family, Reno has flourished into a beautiful, bold, confident little lady. Whether perfectly coiffed or on the fluffier side, not only is her face out of this world cute (come on, how perfect is her beauty mark), but her personality seals the deal. At just 2 years old and about 18lbs, Reno is a classic Peke -- affectionate and intelligent yet stubborn and independent. She enjoys the company of other dogs of all sizes but she will sass them at times so canine friends should be easy going and able to brush off her occasional attitude. Miss Reno is perfectly happy making her own fun playing with an empty water bottle or wrestling with her best friend, Octavius, the Chihuahua. She also has her cuddly moments and is content laying on the couch with her foster family. Her friendly attitude makes her a great fit for most homes but her strong-will is better matched for an adult family or one with older, dog-savvy kiddos. Reno is crate trained, housebroken when kept on a schedule, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. Ready to hit the jackpot? Fill out an application at omdrescue.org.
