Leah's Story...

Hello, my name is Leah and the rescue people tell me that I am cute as a button and ready to find my fur-ever family!  I was found abandoned at a rural shelter in the Panhandle of Florida, and am enjoying my time here in a safe foster home.  What's not to love?  They say I am a beautiful Basset and Daschund mix with the best qualities of both breeds!  Weighing in at only "35lb"s, everyone's best guess is that I will grow into my paws and become a full small breed Basset weight when I grow up!  They keep calling me "beautiful" and "oh so sweet Leah", and I adore attention and love to cuddle with you in your bed at night.  With a little patience and training, I could be the girl of your dreams!  Who could resist those long ears and sweet brown eyes?  Hurry to fill out an application to meet this me!  With a face like mine, I won't be single long!  www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leah, a Seminole Basset Hound/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Dachshund for sale in Seminole, or seeking a Basset Hound/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Seminole.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seminole already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seminole breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Dachshund breeders who help with Basset Hound/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seminole paves the way for another one to be saved.
