Kia is a sweet, but shy, 7 month old terrier mix who just lost the only family she has ever known. 💔

A few months ago, Kia was found at a park. Kids were throwing rocks at her and she was terrified. A nice lady picked her up, reported her, but no one ever came forward to claim Kia. The nice lady made Kia part of the family where she lived with cats & kids. Well they just moved, and cannot take little Kia with them.

Kia is timid but wants desperately to trust. It doesn't take long, and when she does opens up she's really shines! We've seen videos of her with her family doing zoomiesin the yard and cuddling on laps, giving dogs kisses and sitting for treats. Despite being treated poorly by people, she does not have an aggressive bone in her 9 lb body!

If there is a patient, understanding home willing to give Kia the chance to adjust to a new family, they will be rewarded with a loving companion for life.
