Clarke's Story...
Clark is an 8 year old Schnauzer. He is looking for a quiet and calm home. He is protective of his home and doesn't particularly like a busy one. When company other than family visits, he would rather be assisted to his own safe place. However, he loves being out and about and does very well in public. He currently attends doggie daycare once a week. He also loves to go for walks. It relaxes him to be able to sit at a window and see outside, although he will tell you if there are others walking or riding by on bikes! Clark is a sweet boy and would do best with an older couple. He would be fine around older kids, but no babies, babies make him nervous.
Please note that this dog is in Tennessee and will be transported via Pooches On The Move. Potential adopters will be able to speak with his care taker to learn all about him and have all of their questions answered.
He is neutered and UTD on all required vaccinations. He is microchipped, heart worm negative and on a heartworm and flea preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clarke, a Washington Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Washington, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
