Mabel is a 1 year old Shepherd mix. She has a double dew claw on her hind legs indicating the possibility of certain mixes. She weighs 56 lbs, but the vet said she needs to gain 10 more pounds. Her fosters are working on that! She was found in a rural area in Eastern Tennessee, starving. Regardless of how she was found, Mabel loves everyone she meets. She is currently in a home with other dogs and gets along great with everyone. She has been around a cat and showed no negative interest. Mabel adores kids and would love to have them in her family. She is potty trained and working on crate training.
Please note that this dog is in Tennessee and will be transported via Pooches On The Move. Potential adopters will speak directly with her caretaker in order to learn more.
She is spayed and UTD on all vaccinations. She is microchipped and heart worm negative. She is on a heartworm and flea preventative.

About Pooches & Purrs Cooperative - Windham

About Our Rescue Group...

Pooches & Purrs Cooperative is a group of rescues and individual rescuers that are working hard to find loving homes for the dogs, cats, kittens and puppies that find their way into our care through no fault of their own. Each individual or group has several wonderful dogs In Tennessee, Alabama or Kentucky looking for homes! All of them are completely vetted and neutered/spayed (if age appropriate) and on heartworm protection. All of them come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of $500 covers their complete age appropriate vetting and heartworm preventative as well as their transportation to your area.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our rescues don't have an actual shelter building in the New England area. Due to this it is not always possible to meet them prior to their adoption. At times, a dog may be in foster care in New England and their bio will clearly be marked as such. These southern dogs & cats are brought up to their new owners weekly! We have a 14 day money back guarantee and the pet can be rehomed appropriately if things don't work out. Each group tries hard to get good matches in your homes so that everyone has a happy life together! To date the cooperative has placed over a two thousand dogs and puppies, cats and kittens in loving New England homes! Each group has many, many, references of happy adopters up in your area that can fill you in on their experience. Just email and they can pass along that information for your convenience.
