Toby's Story...

Toby is a purebred Jack Russell with a typical sassy terrier attitude. He needs to go to an only dog home, preferably without kids either. He can get territorial with other dogs in the house but is totally fine with dogs outdoors. He is a very low maintenance dog who doesn't require much attention and he has never been a hyperactive Jack Russell even in his younger years. He is also an indoor dog and can be left alone most of the day without getting into trouble. He would, however, love a small sized yard to sunbathe and occasionally bark at squirrels. Please contact me for more details and his personal trainer can also help to provide details about his personality and quirks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
