Apache von Apfeldorf is a gorgeous 3-4 year old German Shepherd. Our experience is that dogs named Apache are commanding, and this Apache doesn’t disappoint! But, underneath his strong warrior exterior is the heart of a friendly love bug. Exiting the kennel, he looks eagerly to his handler. When he realizes it is walk time, he looks up with a heartbreaking look of pure trust and out he sails, joyful and eager as can be. Apache is curious and aware, and as people-oriented a dog as you could hope for. He follows instructions well and is eager to please, so is very amenable to leash or other training. He is very interested to meet other dogs, and will do best with easygoing ones. Oh, yes, we should probably mention that he is drop-dead gorgeous and that jaws will drop and heads will turn when you’re out with him. If you don’t mind being the envy of your block, Apache has his bags packed to go home.
