Ginger's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ginger's Story...
We call her Ginger, but you could call her Bouncy or Happy! This quiet girl is ready to play when you are! Start talking to her or playing with her and she bounces up and down and jumps around, just as happy as she can be! She is shy at first and is a bit scared about new people, but she is learning fast. Ginger could lose a little bit of weight, so she is now going for walks and only eating her dry food and that should slim her down quickly! She walks beautifully on a leash and loves to ride in the car, so if you are looking for a companion who would love to be your snuggle-buddy, look no further. She is house trained, is happy to stay in a crate while you work and loves to sleep on the bed all night!

Ginger is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, tested negative for heart worms, and current on preventatives. Fill out an application for this adorable girl here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. She is located in Huntsville, AL, but is available for adoption in your area!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Knoxville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
