My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sweet little Midnight turned up FeLK positive after she was dumped and before she was even old enough to eat on her own. This usually means her mother was also FeLK positive. However, she has been thriving very well with no symptoms of illness. She loves to be pet, held and snuggled. FeLK cats are able to live good lives although certain precautions are a must, such as regular veterinarian care, good nutrition, and they absolutely have to be indoor cats. We have been told that Midnight can live with other cats only if they are always kept up to date on their FeLK vaccination and, of course all their other vaccinations, as well. You will need to talk to your vet to make sure all the facts are clear. BUT, to be safe, she can always be the only cat, having solely your attention, or sharing it with cat-friendly dogs.

Midnight has been with dogs in her foster home so this may be a good opportunity to add a cat to your home, for a variety of good animal oxytocin, the good feeling chemistry.

Midnight may not have as long of life span as other cats. We can't predict. We hope you will do research and be able to sift among the massive information, sometimes contradicting other information, and find it in your heart to adopt her. She is VERY affectionate and will love you as well as any other cats will.

Her adoption donation fee is $120 but it barely touches on the longer term care she has had because of her not being allowed to go to adoption events so everyone can see how sweet she is. We have found that adopting special needs pets will make you glad you did it. They not only are special needs, they will find your special need in your heart and return the love 200%. Midnight is one of those pets.
