Theo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Theo's Story...
Sweet Theo is 2 years old and weighs about 8 pounds. This little guy didn't read the "How To Be A Mean Chihuahua" handbook! He is a sweetie! Theo's favorite thing to is to snuggle with you and if you have a blanket he loves to be under that. Theo is not a barker, is housebroken and does fine with other dogs. He is just a little guy so we prefer if there are children in the family that they be older. Theo is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add Theo to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Theo, a Southington Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Southington, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
