I inherited my mom and dad's dog, Bandit. My mom unfortunately could not care for him the way he needed because of my Dad and his stroke.
I immediately got him updated on shots, neutering... however, he tested positive for heartworms because he had not been on pills. I cannot afford to treat him for this, but I cannot leave him untreated because that is not fair to him plus it puts other animals at risk.
Therefore I am trying to find someone who is willing to treat the heartworms and give him a good loving home. He would make an excellent fur baby for someone.
Bandit is about 2 years old and is incredibly smart and loving and good with my dogs. He is eager to please his owners.
I'd much rather him go to a new home than me have to put him down because I cannot treat him.
My heart is just breaking over that so I hope there is someone out there for this sweet guy.
