Tarzan is a 3 year old Labrador mix fella whose brain got stuck in puppy mode!
Now, this guy is a GENUINELY nice dog! But honest and for true, he's also a lunatic. Tarzan goes out into the world every day like it's all brand new and exciting to him - REALLY exciting! Like, "put a leash on him and have him pull your arm out of its socket" exciting!
Tarzan is what you get when someone gets a "free" puppy and then doesn't put any sort of structure or training into them - you get a BIG puppy without manners or skills. Fortunately, Tarzan is an awesome dog and with some serious polishing of his rough edges, he will absolutely shine!
So if you're up for what is essentially espresso in canine form - a crazy, bouncy, unfocused, a bit mouthy, high energy lunatic dog - do please stop in to meet Tarzan today!
Tarzan needs a home without small children because he's like a driverless race car with a brick on the accelerator. He also needs a home without small animals because he seems to think that moving snacks are the best snacks. If you have an existing dog, a meet and greet is needed to make sure that the chemistry is right - he seems to prefer smaller dogs, probably because his brain is stuck in puppy mode and he thinks that he's still small, too.
Tarzan is 3 years old, weighs 65 pounds, is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.

Tarzan has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested neg. for heartworm which is included in the $150 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this dog, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays)
