Bella's Story...
This little cutie! <3 Bella is 13 yrs old and has been at our shelter going on a month. We would love to see this senior find her furever.

Bella is a super friendly gal who loves pets, walks and treats! She knows "sit" for a treat and does the cutest little dance if you hold the treat too long. Bella may be 13, but she has lots of spunk and walks great on the leash. Bella also does great with all the other little dogs she's met here at the shelter. If you have a dog at home already, bring them in and we can help with an intro (always recommended!).

Bella needs a kid-free or older kid home. She doesn't like to be moved certain ways and can get nippy if she is touched/moved the wrong way...hey, she's 13 yrs old...at that age, we think Bella deserves a home that is okay with Bella's Rules. ;-)

You can meet Bella at our MC Animal Care, West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx. Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Bella's adoption includes spay, rabies certificate and County license. Bella- A2474047

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Phoenix Beagle/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Chihuahua breeders who help with Beagle/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
