My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Shrek (HWTH#17199A). He is a purebred English Bulldog, DOB: 6/10/10. Shrek weighs 50 pounds and stands 16 inches at the shoulders. He is one of many dogs relinquished to Halfway to Home from a local animal clinic where these dogs have been abandoned by backyard breeders after the dogs have served their purpose for the breeder. Shrek is a wonderful boy, very sweet with what appears to be a mellow personality. He loves being petted and getting affection. It will be imperative that Shrek receive lots of love and good-quality human companionship so he has a chance to experience the bond between a dog and his human. Shrek should have some amount of exercise to keep him fit. He will also benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and help with the bonding process.
