HISTORY:
Snicket was a stray who ended up at an animal control facility. He was very underweight and covered in scratches and bite wounds.
ABOUT:
Snicket is a very friendly, outgoing, talkative guy. He absolutely loves people and being touched. His foster mom has massaged his whole body and he is fine being touched everywhere and doesn’t mind being cuddled or picked up. He has no problem coming up to you to ask for attention. He has a playful side but he prefers toys that squeak or make noise.
Snicket’s foster home has a small dog whom he was determined to make friends with from day 1. The dog was a little unsure but Snicket’s persistence paid off and now they will even play a bit together. Like a typical cat he will sleep on the human’s bed, the couch, and the dogs bed but he will not sleep on the beds that were purchased for him!
The animal control facility said that he would do best as an only cat, but this has been untested/unseen by us. It’s possible that he could integrate with another cat(s) with agreeable personalities, but we truly have no idea and cannot guarantee it. We also do not know how he would be with children, but because he loves all kind of touch and any attention he can get, we imagine he would do very well with children.
Snicket’s foster mom uses the following words to describe him: Loves Attention, Affectionate, Sweet, Vocal, and Playful. If you prefer your cats to sit quietly across the room and look out the window, Snicket is not the cat for you. (*Snicket does also enjoy looking out the window.) FIV+
