My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Pearl (HWTH#17185A). She is a purebred Silky Terrier, DOB: 6/12/12. Pearl weighs 12 pounds and stands 10 inches at the shoulders. Pearl is one of many purebred dogs relinquished to Halfway to Home by a local animal clinic where they were abandoned by breeders after they had served their purpose. She is a loving little girl who likes to be held and feels safe in your arms. She is alert and may be more active when she is comfortable in her new Forever home. It will be imperative for there to be lots of love and good-quality human companionship for Pearl to help her experience the bond between a dog and her human. When Pearl is thoroughly settled in her new home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process.
