Adoption Donation (Tax deductible) 400

This adorable now five-month-old Collie/Lab mix is as cute as they come. She is very bouncy, very happy gal, and highly intelligent. She is another poor pup thrown away in a high kill shelter to die because they owners were going on summer vacation. :-(

All dogs are located in AL at our rescue location there. No dog is available to meet prior to arrival in Buffalo. We run transport twice a month to our location in Toronto and stop in Buffalo where you must be able to pick up the dog on the day posted on the ad. We have no where to keep them in Buffalo so, if you cannot pick up on the posted date, then you cannot adopt for that trip. Puppies under eight-months-old are pre-adopted, no exceptions. We do not send puppies on transport without 100% assurance they will be picked up. Dogs over eight-months-old may be straight adopted or you may do a foster to adopt one week trial period. Foster to adopt requires a $100 deposit and if you adopt at the end of the seven days we apply to your adoption donation. If you do not adopt you must hold the dog until the next transport comes through and we will then refund your $100 deposit.

Adoption Donation covers spay/neuter, UTD vaccinations, Rabies, deworming, heart worm testing, microchip. It also covers transport from AL to Buffalo NY, new collar, leash, tags. All dogs are housebroke and crate trained prior to leaving and will walk on leash, knows basic commands. All medical files come with the dog in a folder along with signed contract.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive, a Buffalo Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
