Stella & Lucy's Story...
Meet Stella and Lucy - a mother and daughter duo. Stella is on the left, she was born in June 2015 and is a pure peruvian. Lucy (on the right) was born in September 2015 and is a peruvian/silkie mix. They love bell peppers, green grapes and lettuce. They are very friendly and tame, and they are also both very comfortable around small dogs and cats. They must stay together because they are best friends. If you think you can provide a forever home for these girls, please contact PCPR to start the adoption process. An application, photos of your home, a C and C cage and an adoption contract is required as part of the process. Their adoption fee together is $50. PCPR will NOT ship. Thanks for the interest!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella & Lucy, a Spring Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Spring, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
