Lil Bo was found as a stray and was taken in by one of our board members. He's been fully vetted and is now ready for adoption. He's not a huge fan of kennels yet so he will need a little training there if he is going to be kept in a kennel. He is super sweet. Does not try and run away and is good with other dogs, cats and kids.

About SBC Dog Rescue of Louisiana

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a foster home-based nonprofit dog rescue based in Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana. We rescue stray, neglected, abandoned, and surrendered dogs. We work very hard to place them in new loving homes.

We do not have a shelter because we believe that a home environment is far more desirable than a shelter or kennel. We rely exclusively on foster homes in which to place our pets until they find their forever homes!

If you are interested in fostering OR adopting, please inquire!

Our Adoption Process...

In order to adopt one of our dogs you will have to complete an adoption application, pass a home check, have a vet reference and sign an adoption contract. Once we receive your adoption application, our Board will review it and contact you as soon as possible.

Our adoption fee is $120-$200. The dog will be up to date on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped, and will be spayed/neutered. If it is a puppy it will come with a voucher for the spay/neuter. Spay/neuter must be completed by by 6 months of age.
