Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue
I would like to introduce you to Carousel. She has only been in her foster home for one week, so we are still learning about her. So far we know she is a little timid at times....living on the streets can do that to you. She does love people and attention, frequently giving up her belly for rubs. She seems to be smart and wants to please people. Today we worked on sit and she did excellent. I will send in more updates as we get to know each other better.

**** FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! ****
YOU can make a huge difference by fostering just one dog. ONE dog, ONE time a year = ONE life that could be saved! Each and everyday we have the opportunity to save more Cairns in need, but we can't do it if we don't have the Foster Homes to place them in. Would you like to learn more on how you can help?
'Saving just one dog won't change the world, but it surely will change the world for that one dog.'

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
