All throughout the south, there are "dumping grounds" where people go, dump their unwanted dogs and speed away. And that's where Sampson's story begins: dumped with his friend Lucy, two little puppies dumped where so many others had been dumped before. But Sampson and Lucy were lucky ones to be spotted by the right good samaritans who picked them up and vowed to turn their lives around. They brought them home, gave them boundless TLC and made them believe in forever again!

Sampson is what we call an "old soul" -- low key and highly intelligent like he's been around before. Sure, he has his moment of puppy crazies but when things get out of hand or when he's had enough, he goes over to his bed and just naps. He's very good with the other dogs at his foster house, a really gentle player. We have no idea what his true mix is, how big he'll get or how small he'll stay, but if he ever grows into those feet, make sure you have room!! Sampson is about 5 - 6 months old, very healthy boy and he already weighs about 60 pounds.
