All throughout the south, there are "dumping grounds" where people go, dump their unwanted dogs and speed away. And that's where Lucy's story begins: dumped with her friend Sampson, two little puppies dumped where so many others had been dumped before. But Lucy and Sampson were lucky ones to be spotted by the right good samaritans who picked them up and vowed to turn their lives around. They brought them home, gave them boundless TLC and made them believe in forever again!

Lucy's a little lover girl! She wags her tail at just a glance her way -- ears as low as possible and eyes half-closed with a smile to make herself as non-threatening as possible so you know that she is friendly as can be! She's super eager to please and is a "soft" dog, the kind you'll never have to yell at or scold -- a simple "look" will make her hang her head low in "shame". She's just that sweet!! She loves to play with other dogs (submissively of course) but people might be her favorites! Lucy is about 5 months old and she is a very healthy girl. We have no idea what her true mix is, but Purebred Sweetheart would be a good guess!
