Chucky's Story...
Chucky is a very sweet, gentle, and easygoing boy. He sleeps soundly through the night and never makes a peep! He lets you know when it is time to go outside with one quick bark. Chucky enjoys his morning and evening walks around the neighborhood. He sniffs every bush and takes in all the new sights and sounds. Chucky happily greets the resident greyhound every morning, and he enjoys meeting new canine friends. The resident cat thinks Chucky is a gentle soul because he is not hiding in the closet! Chucky eats his meals with gusto and loves his treats and toys. Chucky is welcoming his long awaited retirement with lengthy naps during the day. He will greet you with love when you come home. This handsome and quiet boy is ready to find a caring, calm and loving home of his own! Chucky will be available for in-home meetings with approved adopters beginning 06/30/17.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chucky, a Spencerville Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Spencerville, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Spencerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spencerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spencerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spencerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
