My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Courtesy Post - Henry Needs a Home-
We have a domestic short haired cat named Henry. He's about 9 years old. He has been neutered and is current on all of his vaccinations.
About two years ago, my mother's health started to decline and she moved in with us. While living with us, she has had to receive a tremendous amount of in-home care which has brought with it a lot of new pet smells from the many caregivers. The frequent introduction of unusual smells has caused Henry to become extremely anxious and he has started to spray around my mom's room. We have tried pheromone wall-diffusers, NatureCalm collars and recently started him on fluoxetine to reduce his anxiety. Unfortunately, he continues to spray following each nurses' visit. With family, friends and our other pets, Henry is loving, cuddly and playful.
We are beside ourselves in having to make this request to find Henry a new, loving home but we are at a turning point - his behavior is compromising the health of my mother and if we are unable to find him a home soon, I fear that we will be forced to take him to a shelter.
Please help us find Henry a loving home. I can be contacted by phone at (859) 912-5459 or (513) 520-8535 or by email at jimhermann776@gmail.com
Thank you,
JimI
