My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delilah is a beautiful 2 year old Neapolitan mix girl that is as sweet as can be. She came to us from her owner that was no longer able to care for her. Delilah loves everyone she meets including young children. In her foster home, she lives alongside 2 female Neos as well as 1 male Neo, so dog compatibility is not a concern with her. We do not know how she feels about cats since she has not been exposed to them but suspect she may do well if given the proper introduction.

Delilah enjoys things like playing fetch and going for car rides. She absolutely loves to be outside with her family. Since she loves the outdoors, she gets a little excited when she is on the leash but is quickly learning how to walk better. She is house and crate trained, and her foster siblings are teaching her how to perform basic obedience skills. Once adopted, she will be spayed, micro-chipped, and current on all vaccines. If you are interested in Delilah or any of our other dogs, please feel free to email us at: info@bullpenrescue.org or complete our Adoption Application on our website under the "work with us" tab.

We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you’re interested in is a good match.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a “perfect placement” so we know that they will not be failed again.
