AARF only adopts in Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding area.

Hi! I am Sadie! I am a happy big girl. I love to go on walks but I’m strong and walk best with a no-pull harness. I was given up by my family because they had a baby and left me outside all the time.

I am very loyal and would do great as an only dog. I get along with other dogs but can be a little bossy at first. But dogs end up loving me anyway.

I am a big girl but I have lost 10 pounds since I was rescued. My worst habit is that I’m always looking for food so you have to be careful and not leave any in my reach (kind of like my foster mom!).
